2nd Bangladesh Startup Summit to be held at Hotel InterContinental on July 27

Bangladesh Startup Summit-2024 is being held on July 27 at Hotel InterContinental in the capital with the aim of building a smart and prosperous Bangladesh. In addition to the country's startups, 105 foreign startups are participating in this two-day conference organized by Startup Bangladesh Limited, a venture capital organization of the Information and Communication Technology Division. There are 42 stalls and 55 venture capital and investment companies. About 10,000 visitors from 30 countries are expected to attend the summit.

Hundreds of speakers are participating in the event on topics like AI and Technology, Startup Education, The Art of Fundraising, FinTech, EdTech, Climate Vulnerability, Impact Investment, Logistics, Mobility and E-Commerce, RMG Showcasing and Food and AgriTech. This is the first time the entrepreneurs have to participate in the conference by submitting the registration fee. The Investment Night will be held on the evening of July 26 at the outdoor Aqua Deck of Hotel InterContinental.

Sabbir Rahman Tanim, Managing Director of Event Partner Windmill Advertising Limited conveyed this information in a press conference held chaired by Sami Ahmed, Managing Director of Startup Bangladesh Limited in Agargaon on Sunday.

In the press conference, Sami said, this year we have managed to attract double investors. Most of the investment this year came from those who came to last year's summit. 6 startups who can lead Silicon Valley in the future are participating in this conference. Especially those working on AI will share their work with us at the summit.

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak is present as the chief guest in the event. Shamsul Arefin, Secretary of the ICT Division and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Startup Bangladesh Limited, spoke as a special guest on the occasion.
